From Drawing to Knitwear

Each piece begins with an idea. It might come from a character, a relationship between colours, an artwork, a shape or a small imagined world.

Through sampling, we explore how that idea can live in yarn, stitch and construction. Some designs remain close to their original inspiration, while others change as texture, weight and the knitted surface begin to shape them.

The finished piece carries something of where it began, translated into knitwear to be worn and kept.
